The Artist's Profile
Judson Picot Eneas began his formal training in art at the age of 10 with a private tutor in San Francisco, California. At the age of 14 he became a student at the Finance Corporation of the Bahamas Summer programme in Nassau, Bahamas under the tutelage of the internationally known artist, Maxwell Taylor, taking part in the production of a mural that is now displayed in the Central Bank of the Bahamas. His talent was quickly recognized in High School in Annapolis, Maryland when he was inducted into the National Arts Honor Society at the age of 17. He subsequently attended the College of the Bahamas and Hampton University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Art degree with Honors in Art. Not only has he been tutored by nationally known Bahamian artists like Stanley Burnside and Antonius Roberts, but also well know American portrait artists like Mr. Simmie Knox, an African American artist who painted President Bill Clinton.
